This unique fermented tea is traditionally made in China’s Yunnan province, and is believed to have been consumed for almost 5000 years. Pu-erh is said to introduce beneficial bacteria and probiotics into the gut, while encouraging blood sugar control, curbing hunger, and assisting in weight management. Ripe Pu-erh tea undergoes a “wet piling” process, making the tea palatable and smooth. The result is a sweet and florally tea with earthy undertones that some describe as woody.

Serving suggestion: Steep 1-2 teaspoons per cup of freshly boiled water (100ºc). Let steep for 2-5 minutes. Can be steeped multiple times.
