Nettle leaf tea tastes quite similar to green tea. It features a mellow body with rich grassy and earthy flavours. The tea boasts a hay-like flavour that can be evened out with the addition of a dash of honey or agave.
The leaves and stems of nettle are packed with vitamins and minerals and make a good remedy for allergies; it’s diuretic action helps to clear body toxins.
Serving suggestions: 1-2 teaspoons brewed for 3-5 minutes at 100°C. Serve with a dash of honey to add that sweetness.
