High in the misty mountains of the Western Ghats are tea leaves that have been grown and cultivated by locals since the 1800s. Nilgiri’s tea is unlike any other, grown in both wet and dry seasons 10,000 feet above sea level. For hundreds of years, the people of Nilgiri have savoured every sip of this fine black tea for its floral and delicate yet “brisk” flavour profile. The tea has been found to “keep you young” while boosting oral health.
Ingredients: Black Tea (Camellia sinensis)
Serving suggestion: Measure 1 level teaspoon into either a teapot or infuser cup. Add boiling water 100°C and brew for 2-3 minutes.
